These terms are provided by Balance & Symmetry Limited, trading as Strangelight Audio.
Use of the site
This site provides information, downloads, purchases, and account services for Strangelight Audio products including Throughline. You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, security, or availability.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity carried out under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly so we can help secure it.
Purchases and support
Throughline is offered as a one-time purchase through Polar. The applicable price, tax, and payment terms are presented at checkout. A completed purchase grants permanent access to the purchased product through this account while that order remains paid. A full refund revokes access granted by the refunded order; a later completed purchase grants access under its new order. We may change, suspend, or discontinue individual features or builds as the product evolves.
Throughline licence
Your purchase grants you a personal licence to install and use Throughline on your own devices. You may use the music and sounds you create with it in commercial releases. You own your patches and sounds. You may not redistribute the Throughline software. The purchase includes updates released as part of Throughline V1; future major versions may require a separate purchase.
Refunds
You can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase from My Products in your account, without an email or explanation. A full refund revokes the product access granted by that order. This policy is in addition to your statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to faulty digital content, and does not restrict them.
Intellectual property
All content, branding, software, and documentation on this site remain the property of Balance & Symmetry Limited or its licensors unless stated otherwise. Access to the site does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.
No warranty
The site and any pre-release software or documentation are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Balance & Symmetry Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from your use of the site, products, or related services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live or limits your statutory rights.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
