Width

Width changes the side component of a stereo signal while keeping its midpoint. In Stereo mode, Width 0 folds left and right to their average on both lanes, 1 leaves them unchanged, and 2 doubles the side component. Mono always folds to the average; switching back to Stereo restores the stored Width value. Width only scales existing left/right difference, so it cannot widen a mono source, and values above 1 can raise peaks.
