Gain

Main output trim in dB before host handoff. Capped at 0 dB (unity) to avoid clipping; -96 dB (-∞) is silence.

The Gain control attenuates the host output from unity at 0 dB to silence at -96 dB.

Muted

Mute the main output without changing the current gain setting.

The Muted toggle silences the host output without changing the Gain setting.

Muting overrides the audible output after the Gain control.
