Tremolo
Pulses volume or pans stereo sound with shaped rhythmic movement.
Rate runs freely in hertz or follows a synced note division. Sync follows the header global clock unless a cable drives Clock. A Clock or Clock Divider connected to Rate takes precedence and keeps the connected division. Unplugging it resumes the saved free Rate without restarting the cycle. In Pan mode, mono sources move across the stereo field, and loud peaks can rise by up to 6 dB, so leave headroom downstream. The display stops moving above 2.5 Hz or when you turn on reduced motion.
Mode
Selects volume modulation or true stereo panning.
Volume makes the sound pulse louder and quieter; Pan moves it between the left and right speakers.
Volume Modulates both channels by the same cyclic gain.
Pan Moves the sound between the left and right channels.
Shape
Selects Sine, Triangle, or a Pulse with 1.5 ms softened edges.
Sine and Triangle swell smoothly; Pulse switches between high and low for a choppy, gated feel.
Sine Smooth sinusoidal movement.
Triangle Linear rises and falls through each cycle.
Pulse Alternates high and low with 1.5 ms softened edges, open on the downbeat.
Rate
Sets the modulation speed when Rate Mode is Hz.
Higher values make the tremolo movement faster.
Has no effect while a cable drives the Rate socket with a clock, or while Rate Mode is Sync.
Depth
Sets volume modulation or stereo pan excursion.
At 0% the sound stays still; higher values make each pulse or pan sweep deeper.
Mix
Blends the dry input with the tremolo signal.
At 0% you hear the dry input; at 100% you hear only the tremolo signal.
Sync
For the shared timing controls, see Sync to tempo.
