MIDI Scale Quantize
Snaps notes into a chosen key and scale, or follows the project key.
Direction
Chooses whether notes snap to the nearest scale note, up, or down.
Nearest minimises the move; Up never lowers a note; Down never raises one.
Nearest Snaps to the closest scale note, choosing the lower note on a tie.
Up Snaps upward to the next scale note or keeps an in-scale note unchanged.
Down Snaps downward to the previous scale note or keeps an in-scale note unchanged.
Root
Sets the scale root, or follows the active project key when set to Auto.
Auto follows the active project key; choosing a pitch class transposes the selected scale to that root.
Auto Uses the root note detected from the incoming MIDI.
C Uses C as the root pitch class.
C♯ Uses C♯ as the root pitch class.
D Uses D as the root pitch class.
D♯ Uses D♯ as the root pitch class.
