3.1.5. Group boundaries

A cable carries a signal between compatible sockets. Check the signal kind, unit and range before choosing its destination.

The Echo Group nested canvas shows its Delay between Group Input and Group Output boundary sockets.

Inside The Echo Group.

  1. Enter the Group.
  2. Drag from a voice output to Group Output's add socket.
  3. Leave the Group and connect the exposed output socket on its node.

Result: the same signal is available outside the Group boundary.

Inside a Group, the Group Input and Group Output nodes each have an add socket. Drag a cable to an add socket to expose that signal on the Group's node in the parent canvas. See Groups.
