7.1.3. Not following tempo

  1. Is the timing row set to Sync? Delays, LFOs, Shapers, sequencer rates and other timing rows follow tempo only in Sync. A row showing ms or Hz runs free.
  2. Is a cable overriding Sync? A numeric cable on the timing input forces ms or Hz. A cable on the bottom Clock input replaces the Global Clock with that source.
  3. Which tempo is it following? With nothing on Clock, the node follows the header Global Clock: Host reads the DAW, Internal uses the header BPM. A connected Local Clock uses its own BPM.
  4. Is the transport playing? Sequencers and arpeggiators start no notes while the Global transport is stopped. Synced delays and modulation keep running.
  5. Is a connected Clock unavailable or stopped? A MIDI Clock with no incoming clock holds the last timing, and a stopped Local Clock pauses phase-driven nodes. Start it, or remove the cable to follow the Global Clock.
